She also sings "You'll Never Know" in a nightclub. The ending is also hilarious. I won't spoil it. Ya gotta see it. That wry, knowing delivery, the humor that lifted the sarcasm and made him human, and so interesting on film.Jacqueline T. For years, I considered my favourite movies to be from the 40s and while that still holds true, I find more 50s creeping into my heart for a long stay.Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331373971294623620.post-86808800165617030302016-06-18T17:07:02.948-07:002016-06-18T17:07:02.948-07:00Great write up. Some of my favorite actors, although I had some trouble at first envisioning Clifton Webb as an Auto exec. But he pulled it off. Its amazing how these 50s movies can pull you in with just well-written drama and good actors. rcoceanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17102201338319611538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331373971294623620.post-8820038232363920562016-06-18T08:00:14.079-07:002016-06-18T08:00:14.079-07:00Thanks.

I haven't seen DREAMBOAT but it sounds well worth it. I saw WOMEN'S WORLD recently as I've been exploring Heflin's work. A surprisingly well-done melodrama with a great cast. Have you seen PATTERNS? Some similar themes there but a bit darker.Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14952528487748234667noreply@blogger.com
