I remember Dan from NIGHT PASSAGE with JIMMY STEWART. According to imdb he was also in THUNDER BAY which also had Jimmy Stewart in the lead role. Did you ever see a movie with Dan where he played a good guy? I wonder if he ever played a good guy in one of his westerns. Right now I cant recall the details of his role in Night Passage.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331373971294623620.post-15282975783060657592019-12-05T06:36:45.467-08:002019-12-05T06:36:45.467-08:00I didn't mention that the episode with Joan wa...I didn't mention that the episode with Joan was called Sign of the Zodiac and also featured Dan Duryea, and was directed by Jacques Tourneur.

Other guests I enjoyed: Anna May Wong, Julie London, Ellen Drew, Elizabeth Patterson, and Doris Packer. My favourite has got to be Joan guest starring on The Barbara Stanwyck Show in 1961. Aside from two movies they made in 1931, this was the only other time they worked together.Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331373971294623620.post-88997569920042763312019-12-02T13:21:54.018-08:002019-12-02T13:21:54.018-08:0042nd Street, Brother Orchid, Action in the North A...42nd Street, Brother Orchid, Action in the North Atlantic, It Happens Every Spring, and Home, Sweet Homicide are just a few of my favourite Lloyd Bacon movies.Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331373971294623620.post-28169518326697350412019-12-02T12:37:08.903-08:002019-12-02T12:37:08.903-08:00JOAN BLONDELL did an episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE ...JOAN BLONDELL did an episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE with WILLIAM DEMAREST where they played a married couple. It had STERLING HOLLOWAY as an odd TV repairman. Later Joan did an ep of MY THREE SONS titled OFFICE MOTHER. William Demarest was on the show by then. Do you remember those eps? Ive mentioned before that Im a big fan of Joan Blondell. I also really like Demarest because of his role as UNCLE CHARLEY, crusty with a heart of gold.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-331373971294623620.post-80007259912457523482019-12-02T12:21:59.088-08:002019-12-02T12:21:59.088-08:00Some of the LLOYD BACON-directed movies that I saw...Some of the LLOYD BACON-directed movies that I saw are SUNDAY DINNER FOR A SOLDIER(that I mentioned earlier) with ANNE BAXTER & JOHN HODIAK, CALL ME MISTER with BETTY GRABLE & DAN DAILEY, and SHE COULDNT SAY NO with JEAN SIMMONS & BOB MITCHUM.
