Haiku and cartoons. What more do we need to bring us fulfillment? Except maybe a jelly donut. I can guess the author of the poem, but is the illustration the work of your talented daughter?
As you know, it pays to have an artist in the family. The "JCH" in the corner stands for Janet Clare Hall. When I commissioned the piece she was going to go for a generic sleepy woman, but before she knew it "the bangs were in place and there you were". Only thing missing is the powdered sugar from a jelly donut.
